Southern States Hi-Energy Lamb Starter-Grower (BVT) Medicated is a pelleted medicated complete feed for starting and growing sheep that assists in the prevention of coccidiosis. This feed is especially beneficial for sheep maintained in confinement. Containing all-natural, high-bypass protein, Southern States Hi-Energy Lamb Starter-Grower (BVT) Medicated enables rapid growth and muscle development in young lambs.
Feeding Directions
Feed continuously in a complete feed to sheep maintained in confinement at the rate of 1 to 4.66 lbs per head per day to provide Lasalocid at the rate of not less than 15 mg nor more than 70 mg per head per day depending on bodyweight.
Vaccinate for enterotoxemia (overeating disease). Follow Southern States Mineral Program as recommended.
NOTE: Do not permit intake of supplemental selenium to exceed 0.3 ppm in the total ration.
Caution: The safety of Lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal.
