Safe-Guard Dewormer Medicated 0.5% is a full-spectrum dewormer for dairy and beef cattle, swine and horses. Many deworming treatments are labor-intensive for cattle producers, but you can mix this pelleted treatment with your livestock's feed easily. If necessary, it can also be fed as a sole ration for one day for an intensive treatment. Wait 4-6 weeks to determine whether retreatment is needed, and do not feed Safe-Guard Dewormer Medicated 0.5% to slaughter cattle within 13 days of slaughter. Horses The recommended dose is 5mg per kg body weight (2.27 mg Fenbendazole per pound) in a ONE (1) DAY treatment for large strongyles, small stronglyes and pinworms.
LIMITATIONS: All horses must be eating normally to ensure that each animal consumes an adequate amount of the medicated feed. Regular deworming at intervals of 6-8 weeks may be required due to possibility of reinfection. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
