Safe-Guard Dewormer Medicated 0.5% is a full-spectrum dewormer for dairy and beef cattle, swine and horses. Many deworming treatments are labor-intensive for cattle producers, but you can mix this pelleted treatment with your livestock's feed easily. If necessary, it can also be fed as a sole ration for one day for an intensive treatment. Wait 4-6 weeks to determine whether retreatment is needed, and do not feed Safe-Guard Dewormer Medicated 0.5% to slaughter cattle within 13 days of slaughter. Special instructional use for horses and swine are available on label.
SWINE Each pound of Safe-Guard 0.5% Dewormer treats 556 pounds of swine in a 3-12 day treament. Mix or top-dress feed and administer as the sole ration so swine receive 4.08 mg of Fenbendazole per pound of bodyweight within 3-12 days. For individual treatments, mix or top-dress 1 ounce of this product for each 100 pounds of bodyweight each day for 3 consecutive days (4 ounces for each 400 lb. sow each day for 3 consecutive days).
